Keane beats King for lucky owner
Odisseia contains Ava Star in the 2nd at Gowran

Odisseia looked to have a nice chance in a first time tongue-strap again sporting a hood in the Dining Packages On Gowranpark.ie Nursery. It was a long enough last two furlongs for supporters of the six to one shot but she got the job done in the hands of on-a-roll apprentice Colin Keane.
The daughter of Clodovil contained Ava Star in the hands of another big-name youngster, Connor King, by half a length.
John Lynam was on hand for his brother, winning trainer Eddie and he remarked: "She's owned by Andrew Cohen (Wood Hall Stud Limited, colours associated with good horses of the past such as chasers Suny Bay and Quinz). It's important to have lucky owners (has Vallado with Lynam too, winner of the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes at the Curragh last month).
"She kept at it well and we're in the hands of the handicapper now." (AM & EM)
