Kamili continued on an upward curve as she landed the mile fillies maiden at the Curragh this afternoon.
Joseph O'Brien 's charge had been a fast finishing second in handicap company at Bellewstown on her last outing.
The 7/2 shot was produced with a strong run inside the final furlong, by Donnacha O'Brien, to get on top in the closing stages and record a three-parts-of-a-length win over Muniza
“She's been improving with every run. She was a slow learner but we think she's on the right track,” said O'Brien.
“It's great to have a winner for Anne (Marshall) and Frank (Dunne). We think she's a very nice filly, she's a very well-bred filly, and she's after winning a Curragh maiden now. We'll step her up in class now and see what happens.
“She was unlucky the last day. We thought she had ended up with a very nice mark just by circumstances.
“She's won a Curragh maiden now so she might be rated mid 80s. We think she's stepping up so hopefully she can keep progressing with each run.”
