Gordon Elliott continued his near monopoly of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Future Champions INH Flat Race as Kalypso’chance justified 5/4 favouritism in decisive fashion at Navan.
This Listed race has been won in the past by some top horses from Cullentra including the likes of Don Cossack, Envoi Allen, Samcro and Sir Gerhard.
Kalypso’chance made an impressive start when scoring by 15 lengths at Punchestown last month and backed that up here.
The Masked Marvel gelding was switched right to challenge and after leading a furlong out, galloped on strongly to beat the front-running Heads Up by four and a half lengths.
The winner’s stablemate and chief market rival Classical Creek was a neck further back in third.
Elliott said, "Patrick said he's a fair horse and we'll probably end up going to Leopardstown all being well.
"He quickened really well, it was a nice race & I was happy with him. I'd say he's a smart horse."
Paddy Power trimmed the winner into 7/1 (from 8/1) for the Cheltenham Festival Bumper.
