Jim Fixes a quick Carberry double
Jim Will Fix It earned a summer break after recording his fourth win (2 bumpers/2 hurdles) since November and, in the process, completed a quick double for Paul Carberry in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Hurdle.
The 6/4 favourite made all in the four-runner affair (Sicilian Secret didn't run due to a temperature), and got well on top after two out to record a ten length success over Whats On The Menu (2/1).
Winning trainer Seamus Roche said: “He'll go out in a field now and will come back for a chasing campaign. He may have one more run over hurdles as a summer novice and could go for the Graded race at Tipperary if the ground is suitable. It was a super ride from Paul.”
