Jansboy leads Do Na Paisti over the last

Mick Winters' Jansboy justified favouritism under Pierce Gallagher in the Join Tipperary Supporters Club 2014 Maiden Hurdle.
The Alflora gelding was soon close enough to the pace and the British bred took over entering the straight. Do Na Paisti tried her case from two out but she wasn't bridging the gap on the run-in and four lengths separated them at the line.
Winters explained: "His last few runs were on testing ground but before that we thought he was a good ground horse.
"Now you'd have to say he goes on any ground.
"He's a good solid little horse and if he's not sold he'll probably stay over hurdles for a bit. He should be up to winning a beginners chase then.
"The owner, Tom Barry, is from Killavullen. He's 67 now and I've known him since I was a young fella.
"He had Forpadydeplasterer and Teaforthree in their early days.
"He's a great man to bring on young horses. When you'd get one from him you'd get a ready-made one." (TW & EM)
