Jamie Runs riot at Thurles
The Paul Stafford trained Will Jamie Run ran out the length and three parts winner of the Rock Of Cashel Chase at Thurles today, scoring an eight win of the season for jockey Conor Maxwell.
The son of Dr Massini made virtually all and stayed on well on the run-in when pressed by runner-up Chiraaz
Afterwards Stafford stated “I'd like to dedicate this win to one of Will Jamie Run's owners (Any News Syndicate) William Richardson. William built the yard I am currently in at Bellewstown but died before Christmas.”
Stafford added “I was lucky that my horses only missed one day because my gallop is a fibresand track so we could canter the horses away on it. I've no real plans for Will Jamie Run now but we may step him up in grade to a race like the Irish National, in time.”
