Shane Jackson put in a good performance when coming in front of The Saltan Properties Handicap Hurdle aboard the Philip Rothwell trained Wicklow Lad at odds of 16/1.

Rothwell commented afterwards, "That's my 31st winner of the season and it's my best season to date. The horse has been consistent and deserved to win, he has been 2nd on a couple of occasions. He ran bad at Limerick on heavy ground last time out so we gave him a break and freshened him up for today."
