In-form Kelly yard strikes again
Like The Da provided Galway trainer David Kelly with his second winner in 24 hours when landing the odds in the Daily Mirror Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal.
The 8-year-old was sent off the 5/4 favourite in the hands of Paul Carberry and backers hadn't a moments worry as the pair made all the running for a very easy victory.
Kelly commented afterwards: "The four and a half hour trip here was worth it. This fellow was very unlucky last time at Ballinrobe. My horses are coming into form, we had a winner at Sligo yesterday and that is now five of the six horses we have in training that have won."
