High makes winning debut despite swerve
There was another moment of concern in the bumper as Natural High swerved early in the straight as he forged clear.
Robbie McNamara had sent the son of Sadler's Wells on turning for home but he jinked just inside final furlong.
Previous winner Mikhail Glinka had also done the same thing slightly further out.
The 2/1 second favourite regained his momentum to go on for a length-and-a-half victory over Apt Manor giving owners Moyglare Stud their first ever bumper winner.
"Robbie said something distracted him in the infield," said winning trainer Dermot Weld.
"He was very ill as a two-year-old and Stan Cosgrave done a wonderful job with him - he saved his life. It took a long time for him to recover from the illness."
"He'll probably go for a Flat maiden now but we'll also consider a winners bumper."
