Made In Design gave trainer Paul Hickey his second career success a week on from the first when claiming the auction maiden at Dundalk.
Well backed favourite Scrapper Blackwell (5/4 into 4/5) jumped out to make it from his inside draw in the six furlong contest and disputed things up front with Nurpur
He edged ahead of that rival with under two to run but was tackled at the furlong pole by Made In Design, who had chased the leading pair throughout.
Kevin Manning drove Hickey's charge into the lead inside the final 100 yards to record a length success at 4/1.
The winner was dropping back into a maiden having struggled in group company on her last outing.
"She deserved that as she's run in a few good maidens and been beaten by good horses," said Hickey.
"It's great for the owner Steve Parkin (of Clipper Logistics Group Ltd) as he's supported me since I started."
Curragh trainer Hickey had made the breakthrough at Listowel last Friday with the victory of Highflying.
