Heskin breaks collarbone
Adrian Heskin is facing a number of weeks on the sidelines after fracturing a collarbone in a fall at Fairyhouse yesterday.
The 19-year-old, who was due to ride A New Story in the Ladbrokes Irish Grand National at the Rathoath venue this afternoon, suffered the injury when taking a fall from Huntmaster in the 2m6f beginners chase.
Barry Geraghty aggravated a previous shoulder injury when taking a heavy fall from Good Time Donie in the three mile handicap hurdle also at Fairyhouse yesterday.
Geraghty, who was already ruled out of today's action due to a suspension picked up at Aintree, will monitor the injury and certainly expects to be fit for Punchestown next week.
