Running In Heels will bid to complete a hat-trick when she lines-up in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle at Limerick on Thursday evening.
Previously trained in the UK, and bought for just 2,500 pounds at Goffs in January, the Gavin Cromwell trained nine-year-old has managed to win three times since.
Her most recent success was over fences and reverting to hurdles now, she looks the one to beat with Ger Fox in the saddle. Wee Tiger finally got his head in front on his 28th start and he appears the main danger with Eoin O’Brien taking a valuable 7lb off.
Cromwell again looks to have strong claims with Ejayteekay in the Follow Limerick Racecourse On Twitter Mares Rated Novice Hurdle.
This daughter of Big Bad Bob was also a bargain purchase from the UK, winning at Down Royal in May, before comfortably recording another success at Cork on her most recent outing.
She faces six rivals now in this two-mile contest, with recent Killarney winner Feeling The Love her chief rival.
JP McManus owns Feeling The Love and his Castle Howard should give a good account of himself in the Limerick’s Live 95FM Handicap Hurdle.
Third on his handicap debut at Down Royal last month, there should be plenty more to come from this Joseph O’Brien-trained son of Excelebration.
O’Brien saddles recent Cork winner Glocca Mora in the Book Online At www.limerickraces.ie Hurdle, with the Gordon Elliott-trained Ravenhill likely to prove popular with punters in this three-mile contest.
Successful at Downpatrick and Kilbeggan last month, the 123-rated son of Winged Love may prove hard to beat with Davy Russell in the saddle.
Russell teams-up with Tony Martin for the ride on Toor General in the Follow Limerick Racecourse On Facebook Handicap Hurdle.
This two-mile heat looks a very competitive affair, with Dontdooddson Go Complain Joly Maker and Wild Desire just a few for the shortlist.
Roscommon winner Galvin is the one to beat in the Ladbrokes Munster National 14th October INH Flat Race, while Kamil might be able to take the Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day 14th October Maiden Hurdle in first-time cheekpieces.
