The John O’Shea trained Gudnis Gracious Me followed up on her recent win at Downpatrick when she took the I.T.B.A Mares Handicap Hurdle under a fine ride by Sean McDermott.

McDermott who was never too far off the pace took up the lead travelling well four flights from home.

The pair kept on well from the final hurdle to score by half a length from the fast finishing Dancera and Paul Townend.
