Willie Mullins had 19 winners at last year's Punchestown Festival, including nine at Grade 1 level, and his corresponding tallies for this year are 13 and eight going into today's final day which starts at 2.35pm.
Mullins' Vauban is odds-on in the Ballymore Champion Four-Year-Old Hurdle which is the last of twelve Grade 1 contests this week while earlier at 3.50 the multiple champion has three of the nine runners in the Coolmore Kew Gardens Irish EBF Mares Champion Hurdle for which Nicky Henderson's Epatante is a shade of odds-on.
The ground was watered again last night and is good to yielding, yielding in places on all tracks apart from the cross-country course which is good, good to firm in places.
There's light drizzle at the moment with showers (possible 5mm approx) through the afternoon.
