The ground in Punchestown remains yielding, good to yielding in places on both tracks ahead of day two of the festival.
Fresh ground in use on both tracks.
A mainly dry day is expected with the possibility of passing showers. More persistent rain is forecast for tonight with the possibility of approximately 5-10mm.
The action gets under way with the Adare Manor Opportunity Series Final Handicap Hurdle at 2.30pm.
Double Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Galopin Des Champs is a warm order for the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup at 5.25pm. He was beaten into second by Fastorslow in this race last season and that rival comes back for more.
