Mainly dry and settled weather is predicted today and all the way through the next week or so in the run up to Christmas.
There are big fields today at Naas where the ground is yielding on the chase track and yielding, yielding to soft in places on the hurdle/bumper track.
Willie Mullins has several short-priced favourites on the seven-race card including dual Grade 1-winning novice hurdler Gaillard Du Mesnil who starts off over fences in the beginners' chase at 2.00pm.
Racing gets under way at 11.45pm.
The going at Navan for Saturday's meeting is yielding to soft, yielding in places with fresh ground available on the hurdle track.
