The going at Gowran Park is Yielding, Good to Yielding in places following 36mm of rain since 2pm yesterday. The forecast is for a mainly dry and breezy day.
The seven-race card gets under way at 2.25pm. Sizing Europe returns in the Grade 2 PWC Champion Chase at 4.45. Galway Plate winner Road To Riches provides stiff opposition though.
There has been plenty of support this morning for Blossom Gate in the Grade C www.gowranpark.ie Handicap Hurdle. The three-mile contest is off at 4.10 and Yvonne Latta's mare has shortened to 7/1 from 12s.
