Ahead of the St Patrick's Day meetings tomorrow Down Royal reports its going to be yielding to soft while Wexford is soft, yielding in places with a forecast of a generally dry day today and tomorrow.
Todays action centres on Navan (2.25) and Limerick (2.10).
There are seven races on the Navan card with the feature being the Grade C Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Novice Handicap Chase Final at 4.35. Liam Burke's My Murphy heads the market at 11/2 in this competitive 17-runner race. There has been some early money for Noel Meade's Please Talk (14/1 to 10/1) and for Jupitor representing Paul Nolan. He is 9/1 from 12s. The going at Navan is soft.
Limerick also hosts seven races. The last update had the ground as heavy. Urticaire is odds on to land the Grade 3 novice hurdle for Willie Mullins and Robert Tyner's Byerley Babe is a warm order to score in the Grade 2 mares novice chase.
