There are two bank holiday race meetings in Ireland today at Galway and Naas.
The going at Galway remains Heavy. It was dry overnight, but showers are expected today. The first of seven races gets under way at 1.35pm.
There has been money for Count Salazar and Bruff in the featured Ennis Lifts Handicap Steeplechase at 4.05. They now dispute favouritism in that 14-runner contest.
Across the country in Naas, the ground is Yielding to Soft following 1mm of rain overnight. Again there are seven races, starting at 1.15pm.
Cheltenham Festival winner Alderbrook makes his seasonal reappearance in the Grade 3 Poplar Square Steeplechase at 1.45, while exciting hurdler Rule The World is back from a pelvis injury in the 2.15.
The three UK race meetings due to take place today - Bangor, Redcar and Leicester - have all been abandoned due to waterlogging.
Elsewhere, Punchestown races on Wednesday and reports its going to be Yielding to Soft (17mm of rain over weekend). Showers are forecast.
Meanwhile, ahead of the Festival of Racing at Down Royal on Friday and Saturday, the ground is Yielding, Good to Yielding in places (18mm of rain over weekend). There is a mixed weather forecast.
