The ground at the Curragh is now good to yielding (round course) and yielding, soft in places (straight course). The forecast is for a dry day.
The first of seven races is off at 2.20pm, with the featured Group 3 Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes due at 3.50. Sruthan bids for back-to-back victories in this race, however, English raider Sovereign Debt from the Dandy Nicholls yard is attracting early money.
Cork hosts a meeting on the flat tomorrow at 4.45pm. The going is good (on both tracks). Selective watering took place yesterday and the course will monitor the situation regarding further watering. The forecast is dry for today and tomorrow.
