The going at Limerick is now soft to heavy after a dry night. The weather is expected to remain dry today.
There are two Graded contests on the card. Lyrical Theatre will be fancied by many to oblige for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh in the Grade 3 mares novice hurdle over two miles at 2.55pm.
The Closutton trainer has bright prospects of doubling up in the two mile six furlong Grade 2 mares novice chase at 4pm as Vroum Vroum Mag goes for a four-timer.
Meanwhile, the ground at Navan is now soft to heavy, soft in places. The Co Meath track also anticipates a dry day.
The Grade C Irish Stallion Farms European Breeeders Fund Novice Handicap Chase Final (4.45pm) features a clash between Tony Martin's Heathfield and Edward Cawley's Forever Gold Aurora Bell Gallant Tipp and Katnap will also have their say in an intriguing three-mile contest.
Thatshowhedidit is a notable non runner in the opening maiden hurdle.
