Following 2.5mm of rain overnight, the ground at Fairyhouse is Good, Good to Firm in places (on the hurdle and bumper courses) and Good (on the chase course) for racing today.
Rain is forecast for tonight, clearing to showers on Sunday.
The first of seven races gets under way at 12.15pm.
Joseph O'Brien 's Mortal has halved in price (14/1 to 7/1) for the opening beginners' chase.
Others to attract early support are Michael Hourigan's Humm Baby who is 4/1 from 7/1 for the penultimate race at 3.05pm while Hareth (14/1 to 9/1) is also popular in that handicap hurdle.
