The going at Fairyhouse remains soft to heavy. A generally dry day is expected.
The first of seven races on the National Hunt card is off at 2.40pm. The Mulcare Rover running in his first handicap hurdle at 3.50pm, has shortened to 3/1 from 10s. The top weight is a former Roscommon bumper winner.
The favourite, Seven Nation Army is very solid for the opening maiden hurdle. The grey has been backed from 4/5 to 1/2.
