“I'm delighted, this time about two years ago it was similar as he hit form and was consistent in his runs,” said Clarke.
“I'm delighted for the owner Karl Davis who has been very patient with me and things have come right.
“I'm delighted to get it especially in the circumstances, with the way things are, as we don't know if racing is going to go ahead next week.
“The horse was crying out to run and I'm delighted he got in. I was going to enter him last week for the mile-and-a-half race but the fact that this came up I said I'd run him here.
“I knew he'd get in after his ballot mark the last day and it all worked out great.”
James J. Doyle, rider of Mithmaar trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got a bit short of room in the latter stages of this race.
S. Foley, rider of Nanafullam trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never let herself down.
