Future looks bright for '20-20' Saga

The Willie Mullins trained Fabulous Saga maintained his unbeaten jumps record at Listowel today, landing the three runner Ballygarry House Hotel Novice Hurdle very easily under jockey Ruby Walsh.
The son of Saint Des Saints, a winning point to pointer, routed his rivals when winning by 20 lengths at Ballinrobe in August and repeated the dose today when again scoring by that same margin, as runner-up Young Turk was unable to make any impact in the home straight, with a further 25 lengths back to last placed Dorans River
Mullins, who was earlier successful in the Listed flat race with Riven Light was not present but Walsh later reported “the less you have to beat the better but he is a nice horse and he jumped reasonably well. He’s learning as he goes along and he’s a bit of a relentless galloper.
“He won well and on his Ballinrobe run he was entitled to beat the two of them; it looks he’s a winter horse now as he went on that ground I don’t know where he’ll go next but he will improve jump-wise.”
