Further Naas joy for Prendergast
Aared and Gary Halpin stride to victory

On the mark at the opening stage of the Flat turf campaign a couple of weeks back at this venue, Kevin Prendergast struck again at Naas today in the Panoramic Restaurant Handicap with Aared
Gary Halpin held Aared up in rear here, and he asked the Shamardal gelding to move up a furlong out.
The five-year-old improved to lead inside the final furlong, and he stayed on well close home for a one and a quarter length verdict over Sister Blandina
Prendergast commented: "He's very genuine and is from the same family as Awtaad. He got the trip well and got a nice patient ride. He settled well and came home well.
"Over seven furlongs they go a bit quick for him and get him on his head but a mile to a mile and a quarter suits him."
