For the third time in succession Auckland ran at a Leopardstown summer evening fixture and the Galileo colt's most recent form figures now read 121 after his victory in the Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow Handicap.
Returning quickly after a second placing seven days ago, Auckland was bigger earlier and he found 2/1 favouritism from 5/2 on track.
He got the better of Rock In Peace inside the last and though Allography and Nimitz finished off well, Auckland only needed to be pushed out to score by half a length and a length and a half.
"They went a bit quicker in that race and I got a gap when I wanted," said winning jockey Seamie Heffernan on Ballydoyle's Auckland.
"He is what he is I suppose but he won well."
