Indevan appropriately struck from the front to make all and land the Follow Tipperary On Facebook Beginners Chase at Tipperary today for Champion Trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Paul Townend.
The son of Indesatchel put in a much improved round of jumping following a disappointing debut at Kilbeggan last month and jumped beautifully today, scoring easily by three and a half lengths from Thomond
Mullins was absent but Townend later stated “he came on plenty from his debut run over fences and was very good in front today.
“He was a consistent handicap hurdler but hopefully he'll be better over fences and can build on this.”
