Minella For Value completed his fourth win in his last five starts when winning the Centenary Year At Gowran Park 2014 Handicap Chase at Gowran today for trainer John Nallen and Davy Russell.
Clonmel based Nallen is, by his own admission, a buyer-seller but must be scratching his head wondering what he has to do to sell the talented son of Old Vic, which was winning from a mark of 126 today.
Nallen later stated “he's a mighty jumper and a big honest lad. He keeps galloping and keeps jumping; that's what they want in the UK and mine are all on the market!”
He added “we'll give him a break now and where he goes depends on the ground. He could be a Paddy Power (Chase) horse over Christmas or maybe something like the Midlands National at Uttoxeter or the John Hughes (Topham) Chase at Aintree would also suit him.”
