Three-million euro purchase History shed her maiden tag at the third attempt today, landing Gowran's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden for trainer Aidan O'Brien, a four-member Coolmore grouping and jockey Wayne Lordan.
Bought for 2,800,000gns (roughly €3.4m) at Tattersalls in October 2020 by the 'traditional' Coolmore triumvirate of Tabor/Smith/Magnier, the Galileo-sired filly is also part-owned by Westerberg, the racing operation of Georg von Opel and today scored in smart style, from Clemmie C
Following the race Lordan commented “it was pretty straight forward. She feels like she is improving all the time and today she quickened up like a smart filly.
“Her form is holding up as well. Going to a mile was a help for her but she’s sharpening up. I think her trip will be a mile, to 1m2f in time.”
