Fearachain lands a punt
Fearachain gets his first win in Listowel

The money was down on Fearachain in the bumper at Listowel and the money was picked up with healthy interest as he scored at 5/2.
The six-year-old gelding was coming off a break of 176 days, but wasn't lacking any fitness as he was ridden into the lead over a furlong out and wasn’t stopping as the post loomed.
His SP was 5/2 having been 4/1 on early trading this morning. He put two and a quarter lengths on Kalanisi King (5/1) who was a neck in front of 6/1 shot Bay Of Freedom on debut.
Handler Tom Mullins said: “He deserved that. I can’t see him going for a winners’ bumper. I imagine he’ll go hurdling, he’s the age to go jumping now.
“He’ll run in a maiden hurdle when there’s a cut in the ground.”
