The Michael O'Callaghan Fastidious made all the running to win the FM104 Strawberry Alarm Clock Family Days Handicap at Leopardstown today, scoring under Fergal Lynch.
The son of Exceed And Excel was quickly away and probably didn't see another rival for the rest of the seven furlongs trip, staying on to defeat Spetmeber Lily by two and a half lengths.
Afterwards O'Callaghan stated “he (Fastidious) got a bit of a soft lead in front and Fergal gave him a great ride.
“He's a bit of a confidence horse and certainly had that today but also kept galloping. He handles most types of ground once it's not holding.”
