Fame takes Glory in Mooresbridge Stakes
The 2009 Irish Derby winner Fame And Glory was back to his winning ways when taking the High Chaparral EBF Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes in good style under Johnny Murtagh.
Murtagh who was happy to sit off the pace made rapid progress travelling well to join leaders from two furlongs out.
The pair soon forged clear to record an easy five length win over Recharge
Winning trainer O'Brien said afterwards: "I'm delighted with that, they went a good even gallop."
"He's come on well from his first run back. He'll probably go for the Tattersalls Gold Cup now."
