Tom Weekes
Enright can do no wrong
Philip Enright is one man who definitely missed having no Irish racing yesterday but the jockey did extend his winning streak to the 2012 Tramore Centenary Year Novice Hurdle at Tramore today, winning on the Henry De Bromhead trained Casa Jove
Enright had ridden winners at Limerick and Leopardstown on each of the first four days of the week and partnered his fifth winner of the week on the 10/1 shot who was causing a minor surprise to win to defeat 4/6 favourite Turban
Afterwards De Bromhead said “Philip gave him a great ride – Casa Jove looked up against it on paper but I’m glad he turned it around!
“He is tough and his jumping got him there today. He likes to get on with things and hopefully he’ll make a nice novice chaser in time.”
