Gordon Elliott completed a four-timer at Fairyhouse today as the Championship-chasing trainer completed the feat in the concluding Bar One Racing (Pro-Am) Bumper with the Jamie Codd-partnered newcomer Grand Paradis
The son of Martaline was a strong 6/5 favourite to win on debut and duly delivered with a good staying performance to eventually beat Good Land by five and a half lengths.
Elliott, in pursuit of a first Trainers' Championship, had earlier won three of the four big races of the day, with Grade 3 winner Zanahiry and top-level winners Ballyadam in the Royal Bond Hurdle, and unbeaten Envoi Allen in the Drinmore Chase.
Elliott's bumper day edges him close to €2m for the season and in the Trainers' Championship, puts him approximately €370,000 clear of 14-times Champion Willie Mullins, who fielded a weaker team for this year's fixture and failed to win with seven runners.
