Elliott and Codd can't stop winning

A Naas treble was completed for Gordon Elliott, as a fifth winner overall for the stable on the day went in via Brelade s success in the concluding Courtyard Hotel Leixlip Supporting Kildare GAA (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.
It was hard fought for two to one on shot Brelade, but Jamie Codd (in double form at the point-to-point in Rockfield, County Roscommon earlier) is a very hard man to get past.
Try as he might, Davy Roche aboard Mind's Eye couldn't find a way by, and there was a neck between them at the finish.
"It's been a great day, and he's a nice horse. We didn't want to make the running as he had a hard race the last day. Jamie said there was no gallop and he had to go on," said Elliott.
"All he does is stay and he'll go hurdling in about three or four weeks' time."
