Elle Perfecta (10/3) landed the Kevin's Bar, Listowel/Exchange Inn, Ballybunion Handicap Hurdle under Galway Hurdle-winning jockey Liam McKenna.
The 7lb claimer produced the Colm Murphy-trained mare with her challenge at the second-last and she soon took over in front before staying on well to account for Snugsborough Benny and Story Rory by a length and a half and a length and three quarters.
McKenna said: “I had a clean run the whole way. She hit a little bit of a flat spot turning in but once we straightened up she picked up and was going away at the line.
“Colm was very confident and filled me with confidence going out. He’s always liked her from day one and it’s good that she is proving it.
“I’m with Colm two years and this is my first winner for him. He’s given me a lot of support and good rides and it’s just nice to pay him back now.”
