Edeymi bounces back with maiden win

The Tony Martin trained Cheltenham Festival runner-up Edeymi bounced back to form with a win at Dundalk this evening, landing the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Maiden (div 1) under Rory Cleary.
Cleary raced the son of Barathea in mid-division before making progress entering the straight. Edeymi (runner-up in last year's Fred Winter Hurdle at Cheltenham) moved to the front over a furlong out defeating Zip Wire and Manuka
Martin later stated “he was a bit disappointing the last few times but it was down to the ground. Hopefully the ground will dry out a bit in the next month or so and he can go back hurdling.”
