The Kevin Prendergast trained Ahaaly easily justified 4/6 favouritism to make all to win the www.dundalkstadium.com Maiden at Dundalk this evening.
Ridden by Declan McDonogh, the daughter of Exceed And Excel showed the benefit of her encouraging debut at Limerick a fortnight ago to draw away of her rivals in the final furlong for an effortless win over Wasabi's House
Afterwards McDonogh said “Ahaaly was entitled to win that and she could be nice.
“She is quite hot at home but on her first two runs she has been really good. She needs to be treated quietly though and it's nice to get the winning bracket for her, as she is well bred and she could progress.”
