As was the case with the opening winner, Go Kart Dreamy Gal (6/1) made every post a winning one in race two at Dundalk, the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Fillies Maiden (Plus 10 Race).
Shane Kelly was aboard the two-year-old daughter of Dream Ahead, and he got Michael O'Callaghan's charge into a decisive lead from two furlongs out.
Dreamy Gal kept on well in the final furlong, and though she had a slightly reduced advantage close home, she comfortably held the staying-on newcomer, Makamamia (nicely backed 7/1 shot) by a length and three parts.
"The race was not run to suit her the last day, and the step up in trip suited as well. She showed a nice turn of foot to go clear, and is going to make a nice three-year-old," was Kelly's summation afterwards.
C.P. Hoban, rider of Makamamia (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green.
