Dream Scape trumped the first two in the market to open her account in the concluding fillies maiden at Gowran Park.
4/5 favourite Circle cut out the running in the extended nine-furlong contest but was tackled two furlongs out by Dream Scape.
6/5 second choice Caliente soon joined in and the first to crack was Circle as she had no more from the furlong pole after tending to edge left under pressure.
Caliente pressed hard but couldn't find a way past Dream Scape, who stuck her head out gamely for Gary Carroll to record a neck success.
The easy-to-back 12/1 winner had shown ability in two efforts but was stepping up today.
"She's a nice filly and I think she'll be an improving sort," said Murphy.
"The owners (Newtown Anner Stud Farm) are near to me and have a number of nice fillies coming along - hopefully she'll be one of those.
"She's a very genuine filly. We'll see what mark the handicapper gives her."
Joseph O'Brien put 3lb overweight up on eventual third Circle.
