Trainer Liz Doyle completed a double at Naas today when her Reality Dose followed up his win in last year's renewal of the Cheltenham Trial Day 23rd February Handicap Chase, this time under Adrian Heskin.
The winner, whose only previous win was in the 2013 renewal, stayed on well on the run-in for a two and three parts of a length over Heavenly Brook
Afterwards Doyle, whose Glen Beg caused a 33/1 upset in the previous race, stated “he had his conditions today with the track and ground and all he needed was a good gallop. He was never travelling but came alive coming to the last and my horses are in much better form now having struggled before Christmas.”
Doyle's stable star Le Vent D'Antan returns to action at Fairyhouse tomorrow and regarding him, she added “hopefully his ulcers are behind him now and it's great that the yard is in good form.”
