Dead Heat in Anglesey Lodge Handicap
The Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital Handicap saw a thrilling finish with Eddie Harty’s Pax Soprana under Fran Berry dead heating with the Pat Flynn trained Final Flashback under Gary Carroll.
Connections had a long wait as a Stewards Enquiry was called due to interference close home but the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings.
Winning trainer Flynn stated: "He's a nice horse and if the ground gets good we'll step him up in trip. I think he will make a very nice horse next year."
It was a day to remember for both Berry and Harty as Berry recorded an 1983/1 four timer and Harty recorded a 30/1 double.
