Curvature goes shortest way around for Listed success

A daughter of Lope De Vega out of a Galileo-sired sister to Prix du Jockey Club winner Intello, Curvature added considerably to her value with a Listed success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Garnet Stakes.
With Shane Foley still making his way back from the United States where he rode Sounds Of Heaven to finish fifth in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes at Keeneland yesterday, Jessica Harrington enlisted Gary Carroll with the riding duties.
The latter took full advantage of the fresh ground on the far rail to make all on Newtown Anner Stud's three-year-old for a length and three quarters success over British raider Good Gracious
“She loves that if she can get onto the lead and she’s learning now," said Harrington.
"She was too fresh in Listowel as she hadn’t run for a while but today she was really good and it’s great to get that big black type.
“She was only cruising in front but it’s a long way home here in the straight and she kept on really well.”
