The going remains unchanged following 1mm of rain since declarations at Navan ahead of this afternoon’s seven-race Irish Stallion Farms EBF sponsored card beginning at 12.02.
There is €20,000 prizemoney on offer for each of the six handicap races (3 hurdle/3 chase) and the meeting concludes with a quality Listed bumper.
Gavin Cromwell and Keith Donoghue, successful at Cheltenham on Friday with Stumptown, have strong chances in all three races over fences. Money Heist is bidding for a hat-trick following an 11-month absence in the two-mile handicap chase at 1.45, while Individualiste has been strongly supported from 15/8 into 5/4 for the 2m4f event (2.20).
The same trainer/jockey combination also hold strong claims with topweight Tyre Kicker over three miles at 2.55.
The Charles Byrnes-trained Brave Troop looks sure to go off a hot favourite in the opening two-mile handicap hurdle despite a 16lb hike for an easy win at Thurles last month, while the Philip Rothwell/Tiernan Power Roche combination have fancied runners in the other two hurdle races with Away To Milan and Billy Lee Swagger
Gordon Elliott holds a great record in the bumper on this card having won it in the past with the likes of Don Cossack, Samcro, Envoi Allen and Sir Gerhard.
The Cullentra trainer has declared three Gigginstown-owned winners including Kalypso’chance who is put in at odds-on following an impressive 15 lengths debut win at Punchestown last month.
