Cooldine's brother causes shock
Charles Byrnes and Davy Russell were the bookmakers darlings for once when combining with 22/1 chance Fists Of Fury in the Holycross Maiden Hurdle.
A full-brother to last year's RSA Chase winner Cooldine, the Beneficial gelding overcame a mistake at the last when quickening up in the closing stages to beat Better Times and Marlay Park by half a length and three quarters of a length.
The six-year-old, who was returned 72/1 on Betfair and paid 35/1 on the Tote, showed promise in a point-to-point last year but was let down by some poor jumping on his debut under rules at Naas earlier this month.
