Condon's good run continues
Curragh based trainer Ken Condon was continuing his good run when Bay Knight landed the Kilmacud Claiming Race in the hands of Declan McDonogh.
McDonogh produced the 7/2 shot to lead inside the final furlong and the four-year-old stayed on well to score by a convincing two lengths.
Winning trainer Condon said afterwards: “That was great his run on Satu day entitled him to have his chance here.”
“He likes an ease in the ground. He jumped out well and Declan [McDonogh] got him relaxed.”
“If he’s ok in the morning we’ll declare him for the Rockingham on Sunday and he’ll love the bit of rain.”
