Whereyounow blunders at the last

Whereyounow gave connections a measure of compensation for a recent Punchestown mishap when winning the Listowel Handicap Hurdle at that Kerry racecourse today, scoring for trainer Rodger Sweeney and jockey Sean Flanagan.
The son of Carlotamix was a well backed 4/1 joint-favourite when pulling up with a tack issue in the early stages of a similar contest at Punchestown earlier this month.
Today things went largely to plan and while he was untidy at the second last and then blundered at the last, jockey Flanagan had the 'revs up' for both obstacles and the pair kept their momentum for a length and three parts winner over In A Pinch
Sweeney is still pining for Punchestown and today lamented “we had a lot more on him the last day than we had today!”
He added “the actual stirrup broke at Punchestown and I left him (Sean Flanagan) on as he deserved a bit of luck and is a good rider.”
"He is a nice little horse and is a 2m4f horse. He jumped the last two (hurdles) funny.
“He's six now and will get a little tip at a fence so chasing will be the road for him now.”
