Compensation for Flame Bearer

Flame Bearer gained compensation following a controversial recent Naas defeat when today landing Fairyhouse's BetVictor Support Irish Racing Maiden Hurdle (div II) for father/son, trainer/jockey Pat and Jack Doyle.
At Naas, Flame Bearer was badly hampered by winner Bronn, under Paul Townend, when squeezed for room on the inside jumping the last, and failed to recover finishing third.
Today Doyle junior elected to make his own luck on the son of Fame And Glory, which proved 12 lengths too strong for Bronn's stablemate Micro Manage
Afterwards jockey Jack Doyle reported “he’s a horse we’ve always thought the world of and it’s just taken a few runs for him to get it together over hurdles.
“He settled well today and his jumping was brilliant.”
