Collins continues her good run
Tracey Collins continued her good run when winning The Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap with Springfort ridden by Julie Burke in the colours of the trainers mother Mrs C Collins.
Tracey Collins said afterwards, "I'm delighted with that win, it was a good front running performance. Julie gave her a super ride and is very valuable for her 7 pound claim."
The 19 year old Julie Burke originally from Holycross is apprenticed to Michael Halford and recorded her second winner here this evening in great style winning by a comfortable 2 lengths holding off nearest rival Duck Scary with Emmett McNamara in the saddle.
